How the Central America Map Quiz works
Central America packs a handful of countries into a narrow strip, and the map holds 8 of them, so every session asks 8 questions and names each one once. You answer by clicking the country on the map rather than choosing from a list. A correct click turns the region green and scores a point; a wrong click turns that region red and you can try again, and the round only reveals the answer if you skip.
Why the small states are the real test
The challenge of Central America is not the number of countries but the space they share. The region is a narrow bridge between two continents, and several states are small, close together and easy to swap. Working through them one click at a time, using the Pacific coast, the Caribbean coast and the neighbors on each side, is far more effective than reading a list of names.
Where to go next
Once Central America feels comfortable, the South America map quiz moves the same format further south, and the North America map quiz widens the view to the whole continent. The countries of the world quiz brings every region together on one map.
